Castle Rock Downtown Development Authority
The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) formed in November 2008 after downtown voters selected in favor of its creation.
A DDA is a board of property owners, business owners and residents representing Downtown that can create and steer additional financial investment in Downtown Castle Rock. DDAs can finance many public improvements including streetscape projects, sidewalks, street lighting, street furniture, public parks and plazas.
Public meetings
The public is invited to DDA meetings, which take place the first and third Thursdays of each month at 4 p.m. at Town Hall, 100 N. Wilcox St. For more information about DDA meetings, please click here.

The DDA and EDC offices are located in Downtown Castle Rock at 18 S. Wilcox St. Suite 202.
Awards
In its first year in existence, the Castle Rock Downtown Development Authority was named the “2009 Best Downtown Management” program in Colorado.
The DDA was recognized during the Governor’s Award Gala Dinner at the Downtown Colorado Inc. annual conference.
In November 2008, more than 65 percent of downtown voters approved the formation of the DDA. The award recognizes the hard work that led to the positive election results, as well as the formidable progress that’s been made since the DDA officially formed.
