DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

Focusing on beautification, community amenities, adaptive reuse of space, façade renovations and large development projects.

Established in 2008, the Downtown Development Authority is charged with encouraging redevelopment utilizing tax increment financing. Projects range from beautification to community amenities, adaptive reuse of space to facade renovations, to large development projects.  The DDA encourages developers that are interested in Downtown Castle Rock to contact kevin@downtowncastlerock.com to discuss how the DDA might help overcome challenges to development and re-development in Downtown.  The DDA works closely with the Downtown Merchants Association as a collective Alliance focused on enhancing and improving Downtown Castle Rock.

The DDA is comprised of a volunteer board of directors and daily operations are managed by a director.

The DDA is guided by the 2008 Plan of Development.
