Fun in the Sun (Formerly known as Splash in the Park)

Event Date: Wednesdays – July 5, 12,19,26

Event Time: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Event Location: Douglas County Fairgrounds, Field 4

Description of Event: Music, water toys and games, inflatables, food vendors, fire truck

Audience: Family event, open to the public

Cost: FREE

Streets to be Closed: none

Parking Recommendations: Ample parking available at the Douglas County Fairgrounds lot. Parking in the residential areas near the event venue is discouraged.

Event Tips: You are welcome to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, blankets or other like items to sit on.
Families are welcome to bring food, snacks and drinks, or visit one of our food vendors!
Bring sunscreen!!
Feel free to post photos on our facebook page (Downtown Castle Rock).

Weather: We anticipate warm summer weather, so please bring sunscreen and water. In the event of inclement weather please visit our facebook or twitter page for the most up to date event information.

Sponsors and Vendors: Food vendors will be onsite. Participants are also encouraged to visit the local restaurants for lunch!
