Castle Rock Ducky Derby - 25th Anniversary

The Rotary Clubs of Castle Rock are pleased to host the 25th Anniversary Ducky Derby. Join the fun on Sunday, June 13th from 9 am to 2 pm at the Farmers Market at Festival Park in downtown Castle Rock. The Ducky Derby is the largest annual fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Castle Rock, and the Castle Rock High Noon Rotary.

What kinds of things can I enjoy on Ducky Derby Day?

The Farmers Market offers an assortment of handcrafted foods, art, and crafts provided by local vendors. You will find food from local food trucks; entertainment for the whole family; and beer on tap at the beer tent. Rotary will host a Ducky Derby Silent Auction; with proceeds going to Rotary charities.

When does the Ducky Derby Race take place?

The 1 pm Ducky Derby is the main event for the day. Thousands of numbered rubber Duckys are released into Plum Creek and they “race” a half mile to the finish line. The first ten Duckys to cross the finish line earn cash prize money for their ticket holders. In addition, the winning Ducky provides the ticket holder with a chance to win a new car from Castle Rock Autoplex.

How can I purchase tickets?

Purchase your tickets from a Rotary member, or online at www.CRDuckyDerby.org. One Ducky Derby ticket is $5. A Ducky Derby 5 ticket bundle is $20.

What charities receive money from Rotary Fundraisers?

Rotary Ducky Derby proceeds support these local charities: Wellspring Community, Help & Hope Center, Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation, the Women’s Crisis Center, Douglas Land Conservancy, and college scholarships for local students.
