Downtown Castle Rock Business Highlight: Tribe

Updated: Feb 19, 2021

Welcome back to the Downtown Castle Rock Business Highlight! As a community we are having so much fun #CelebratingCastleRock and all the awesome businesses that make up the Downtown. Today we will be shedding some light on Tribe.

Tribe is one of the newest restaurants in the core of Downtown Castle Rock. Tribe has been providing catering services for the last 3 years. They recently realized they needed a home base to not only run their catering business but to also add to the current Downtown Castle Rock food scene. Tribe is located at 115 Wilcox St, Suite 120.

Tribe is excited to offer their full menu daily from 10am to 9pm Sunday-Thursday and 10am to 10pm Friday and Saturday. Brunch and lunch are served daily from 10am – 3pm, with dinner service starting at 4pm. They are a Colorado 5-Star Certified restaurant and exceed COVID-19 safety guidelines and procedures required by public health orders. Be sure to explore their menus and place an order online for delivery, carry out or go check out their awesome space in person! They are looking forward to meeting and serving the Castle Rock community!

You can keep up with everything that Tribe has going on by checking out their social media pages and website listed below:

The Castle Rock Downtown Alliance had the opportunity to sit down with Chef Arthur Gonzalez. Here are some of our favorite questions that we got to discuss with Arthur.

Why did you choose Downtown/what attracted you to owning a business in Castle Rock?

  • During our time catering we fell in love with the area, we felt Castle Rock is a nice location between Denver and Colorado Springs. Also, my sister (Isabelle Kline Design) has been asking me to come out and do some catering with her.

Tell us the story/background of your business. How did you end up running a business in your industry?

  • I was around 26 years old and after numerous jobs from being a paid call firefighter to selling paper, I needed to find my passion. After some rough times, I just knew I wanted to cook. I started as a dishwasher and never looked back.

Favorite thing about owning a small business?

  • You are in the driver seat, you will have ups and downs, but the reward is amazing. We also try to be inspiration for people to follow their dreams.

Favorite place to visit in Downtown Castle Rock?

  • Chicken Fried Chicken at Castle Cafe, Phillip S Miller Park, honestly the whole downtown area is really cool to eat, walk, and shop.

What's something unique that people may not know about you or your business?

  • I love the outdoors, Tribe's concept is based on the outdoors and my travels through the western/southwestern part of the United States. I love these areas so much; my friends and I have started a project called Watchfire Cooking Excursions. We want to show people these amazing places we get to go to, and then show them amazing food to cook along the way.

What's the easiest way customers can support your small business right now?

  • Gift Cards are always a great way to support! We are currently offering a promotion where if you spend $100 you get a $20 Gift Card on us. Other than that, helping get the word out there. We have found that word of mouth is the best marketing tool in Castle Rock!

Help us #CelebrateCastleRock by liking, sharing and supporting #DowntownCastleRock Businesses.
