Encore Topping Out Celebration

On Friday, October 9, 2020, Confluence Companies held their topping out celebration and first public tour of the Encore project in Downtown Castle Rock, located at 20 Wilcox Street. The topping out celebration marked the milestone of the final steel beam placement and a thank you to those who have worked on the project thus far.

Encore Castle Rock is a mixed-use development project offering 124 for-sale condos, 30,000 square feet of retail and office space, a 300-space parking garage to serve the private portion of the project, as well as an additional 308 parking spaces for public use.

Confluence Companies completed their first project in Downtown Castle Rock in 2019, named Riverwalk, which are two mixed-use buildings, at 115 and 215 Wilcox Street. Encore will include many of the same elements as Riverwalk including state-of-the-art amenities, great views of Downtown and the surrounding landscape and exciting dining and shopping options. Both Confluence Company projects fit the Downtown Development Authority Plan of Development, including a well-defined street grid that encourages walkability and parking off the main street. In addition, Riverwalk and Encore add a much needed population density in the district to support small businesses and provide a more vibrant atmosphere and window-shopping environment.

The topping-out ceremony revealed that 25,827 square feet of the commercial space at Encore sold within 6 months. Users occupying this space include a medical technology company, skin care company, cupcake shop, hair salon, title company, commercial real estate broker and an Italian deli. Encore has one retail space still available for a 3,173 square foot restaurant.

Attendees of the topping out celebration toured the 1, 2- and 3-bedroom condo units on sale right now. Confluence Companies revealed that 57 of the 124 units have already sold, with the penthouse and higher end units selling first.

Future residents will not only be able to enjoy owning a home in the heart of Downtown, but also project amenities that include a state-of-the-art fitness center, on-site dog park, dog spa, golf simulator and year-round hot tub and club room. The project is expected to be completed in the first half of 2022. Keep an eye out on the Encore building as Downtown welcomes new residents, businesses, and restaurants!
