Opening Day at Rink at the Rock 2020!

The Castle Rock Downtown Alliance is excited to announce that the Rink at the Rock will start its ninth season on Saturday, November 21, 2020 and continue through Monday, February 15, 2021. The Rink at the Rock is located at 414 N. Perry Street, in historic Downtown Castle Rock. The opening coincides with Castle Rock’s annual lighting of the Star.

“The Rink at the Rock and the various events hosted by our partners, the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce and Town of Castle Rock, bring the community together for holiday memories with family and friends. This year more than ever, we invite the community to skate and shop around Downtown as a safe way to celebrate the holidays and spread positivity throughout our Town” said Stuart Butler, Chairman of the Downtown Development Authority. Butler adds that, “The Rink at the Rock would not be possible without the collaboration and support of the Town of Castle Rock, Downtown Development Authority and our community partners. We also want to thank Castle Rock Autoplex for their title sponsorship this year, as well as all of our generous sponsors!”

The Rink at the Rock hours will be Thursdays 4:00 - 8:00 pm, Fridays 4:00 - 9:00 pm, Saturdays 11:00 am - 9:00 pm, and Sundays 11:00 am - 5:00 pm except during holiday hours. Skate fees are $10 for adults (12+), $8 for children (11 and under), and $4/pair skate rental. Punch pass cards are also available, $110 for adults, $90 for a child; passes include skates and 10 admissions to skate. “The Rink at the Rock is one of many fun and exciting attractions in Downtown Castle Rock during the winter months that Castle Rock families and visitors can enjoy! We are excited about the upcoming Rink at the Rock season and hope that it helps to activate Downtown and provide a safe outdoor recreational opportunity for the community when it is really needed.” says Kevin Tilson, Director of the Castle Rock Downtown Alliance.

Winter photos are unbelievably beautiful. Especially when it comes to winter castles. Take a look at winter castle images and you will see what I mean. Personally, I can't take my eyes off them.
