DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
"Focusing on beautification, community amenities, adaptive reuse of space, façade renovations and redevelopment projects"
The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is a quasi-governmental entity that functions as an extension of the Town and is guided by a 7 member board that is appointed by Town Council. The DDA projects range from beautification to community amenities, adaptive reuse of space to facade renovations, to large development projects. The Downtown Development Authority uses tools such as Tax Increment Financing (TIF).
The DDA is guided by the 2008 Plan of Development.
