DOWNTOWN CASTLE ROCK ANNOUNCES FALL 2020 BURGER WEEK EVENT

Merchants Association unveils new event showcasing specialty burgers from Downtown restaurants

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. – The Castle Rock Downtown Alliance announced their plans for a new fall event called Downtown Castle Rock Burger Week. Beginning Sunday, September 27, guests will be able to visit more than 15 participating restaurants to try one-of-a-kind burgers at a special $10 price in the Downtown District.

The week-long event, presented by Ent Credit Union, was created as a substitute for traditional, large-scale events postponed due to COVID-19. Burger Week is a response to the recent restaurant restrictions, as well the overwhelming support from the Castle Rock community and their desire to support local establishments.

"We are excited to launch a new event that showcases the creativity and fun our downtown restaurants offer up every day. The pandemic has forced us to put many of our most popular events on ice this year, but that has also given us an opportunity to think outside the box and change things up a bit. Burger Week will give local restaurants an opportunity to show off their creative chops (or burgers in this instance) and entice residents and visitors to come downtown. In addition, make sure to check out our other awesome, locally owned businesses. We all appreciate everyone’s support and look forward to seeing the community Downtown", said KC Neel, President of the Castle Rock Downtown Merchants Association and owner of local business, Castle Rock Bike & Ski.

Participants will be able to enjoy their burgers with multiple dining options including take-out, curbside pick-up and dine-in. Participating restaurants are highlighted below:

Want to support the Downtown District but aren’t a burger lover? The Downtown Merchants Association will be featuring promotions, products, and even more creative food options (think burger-themed desserts and burger pizza) on the Downtown Castle Rock Burger Week social media. The week-long event will end Sunday, October 4 and attendees can find more details on @DowntownCastleRockBurgerWeek on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and downtowncastlerock.com/BurgerWeek.
