Envision Counseling Clinic has been a part of the Downtown Castle Rock Core since January of 2015. The Envision office is located at 734 Wilcox St #202, right above Crowfoot Valley Coffee.
Envision is bringing hope to our local communities by improving relationships and mental health. People across Colorado come to them when they have done all they know to do and are still feeling stuck. Their team of counselors help clients find relief, face their challenges, and forge a new path: a path they could not envision alone.
Envision Counseling Clinic is currently open and accepting new clients. They are allowing patients to visit in-person, but they are also offering telehealth services to keep their patients’ health their top priority. They are open 8:00am-9:00pm Monday through Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. The Downtown Castle Rock Alliance had the opportunity to sit down with Veronica and Steve Johnson, the Owners of Envision Counseling Clinic. Below are a few of our favorite questions we got to discuss with Veronica and Steve.
Why did you choose Downtown/what attracted you to owning a business in Castle Rock?
Veronica graduated from Douglas County High School and we knew this was where we wanted to raise our kids. It is a very unique town but we're also excited for the growth opportunities as the area keeps expanding. We love taking walks through downtown and visiting the locally owned shops and restaurants - even our church is downtown!
Favorite thing about owning a small business?
We love being able to create a fun environment for our staff, while keeping our standard of care at the same high level we demand of ourselves. Castle Rock has a very tight-knit business community and we love how everyone supports each other and encourages friends to buy local.
Favorite place to visit in Downtown Castle Rock (other business, park, trail, etc)
We love visiting local restaurants and food trucks such as Coast2Coast, VistaVino and Crowfoot Valley Coffee. Our kids especially love Festival Park and other local amenities such as the MAC and the library.
Favorite day of the year to own a small business?
Our office is located directly underneath the rock (right above Crowfoot Valley Coffee) - this gives us an amazing view of Starlighting and love to see the entire town come together to celebrate the start of the Christmas season.
What’s the easiest way customers can support your small business right now?
Our hope is that when you find out someone is struggling with anything related to mental health that you'll encourage them to give us a call at 720-WELCOME (935-2663). Jessie handles our phones and is very easy to talk to - she can help fit you with the best therapist. We're here to serve Castle Rock and get people in a great mental state so they can further strengthen our community.
